We believe in total transparency. For local moves, we typically offer an hourly rate or a flat fee depending on the size of the job. We provide a clear estimate upfront so there are never any surprises on your final bill.
For peak season (April through September) and weekends, we recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks ahead. For weekday off-season moves, 1 to 2 weeks is usually enough. If you need us sooner, give us a call. We can often accommodate last-minute moves when our schedule allows.
This rarely happens because we walk through your inventory with you before quoting. If something unexpected does come up during the move, we tell you before any extra time is added to the bill, so you never get hit with surprise charges. For hourly jobs, you only pay for the time we actually worked. For flat-rate jobs, the price does not change.
Yes. We are a fully licensed and insured moving company. We take full responsibility for your belongings from the moment we arrive until the moment we leave.
Absolutely. We have the equipment and the muscle to move refrigerators, washers, dryers, and heavy bedroom sets. We also handle specialty items like pianos and safes.
Yes. We offer full packing, partial packing, and unpacking services. We can also drop off boxes, tape, and protective wrap before your move so you can pack at your own pace. Just let us know what you need during your estimate.
Yes. We work Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 10:30 PM. Sunday and holiday moves are available by request and may carry a small premium. Book early for peak weekend dates, especially during the busy April through September season.
Yes. Standard furniture disassembly and reassembly is included in your estimate: bed frames, dining tables, dressers, and similar items. For complex pieces like exercise equipment or modular furniture, just mention it during your estimate so we bring the right tools.
We recommend emptying drawers to protect the furniture structure and make the piece lighter to carry. However, for lightweight clothing, we can sometimes leave them full. Ask your moving coordinator during your estimate.
We start early when possible to beat the heat, and our crews carry water and take regular breaks to stay safe. For afternoon storms, we monitor radar and pause loading if conditions get unsafe. Your belongings are always covered with moving blankets and protective wrap, and we use ramps with non-slip surfaces. Your move continues the moment it is safe to resume.
Tipping is never required, but it is always appreciated when our crew exceeds your expectations. A common rule of thumb is 5 to 10 percent of the total move cost, or 20 to 40 dollars per mover for a half-day job. Cash is preferred, but it is entirely your call.
