A simple upright move within town typically runs less than a baby grand going across the state. We routinely move safes up to 1,500 pounds, and we can handle larger commercial-grade safes with the right notice. Tell us the make, model, and weight during your estimate so we plan the crew size, equipment, and path of travel accordingly.
Yes. For safety and insurance reasons, all firearms and ammunition must be removed from the safe before we can transport it. The safe itself must be empty to reduce weight and prevent internal damage.
Yes, in most cases. We use heavy-duty straps, dollies, and ramps designed for this kind of weight. We will assess the stair angle, doorway widths, and tub size during the estimate so we bring the right gear on moving day.
We strongly recommend hiring a licensed electrician and plumber to disconnect your hot tub before move day. Local code often requires it, and it protects you in the event of an issue. We handle the physical lift, transport, and reposition. We do not handle the electrical or plumbing reconnection.
